Bridgeworks is a multi-use project
built in the historic Gaslamp Quarters that includes a 253-room
Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, 32,000 square feet of retail space,
21,400 square feet of office space and an underground garage.
The exhibit was designed to commemorate the site's colorful
history, which started in the late 1800s, when the street
was part of a red light district known as the Stingaree.
The area's many transformations are documented in the exhibit,
which features historical photographs and plaques.
